Classic and delicious       Chicken Fajita Recipe:

**Ingredients:**

For the Marinade:

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced

- 3 tablespoons olive oil

- 2 tablespoons lime juice

- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 teaspoon chili powder

- 1 teaspoon cumin

- 1 teaspoon paprika

- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to your spice preference)

- Salt and pepper to taste

For the Fajitas:

- 2 bell peppers (one red, one green), thinly sliced

- 1 onion, thinly sliced

- 8 small flour tortillas (or corn tortillas if you prefer)

- Sour cream, guacamole, salsa, and shredded cheese for serving

- Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

**Instructions:**

1. In a bowl, combine all the marinade ingredients: olive oil, lime juice, minced garlic, chili powder, cumin, paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

2. Place the sliced chicken in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it's evenly coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add a bit of oil to prevent sticking.

4. Once the skillet is hot, add the marinated chicken slices. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side or until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice char.

5. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.

6. In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if needed and then add the sliced bell peppers and onions. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they're softened and slightly caramelized.

7. Warm the tortillas in the skillet or in the oven for a few minutes.

8. Assemble your fajitas: Place a portion of the cooked chicken and sautéed peppers and onions in the center of each tortilla. Add your choice of toppings, like sour cream, guacamole, salsa, and shredded cheese.

9. Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro.

10. Fold the tortilla over the filling, and your chicken fajitas are ready to enjoy.

11. Serve hot and savor the delightful flavors!
