Baked Salmon with Asparagus

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh dill or parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Arrange asparagus around the salmon fillets. Drizzle olive oil over the salmon and asparagus.
  4. Sprinkle minced garlic over the salmon and place lemon slices on top.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Garnish with fresh dill or parsley if desired before serving.
