Dark Chocolate Avocado Truffles

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (at least 70% cocoa)
  • 1-2 tablespoons cocoa powder (for coating)
  • Optional: 1-2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (for sweetness, if desired)
  • Optional: 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler, melt the dark chocolate chips until smooth. Stir occasionally to ensure even melting.

  2. Prepare the Avocado: Mash the ripe avocado until smooth in a separate bowl. If using honey or maple syrup and vanilla extract, mix them into the mashed avocado until well combined.
